About This Site
Over the course of years, photography has largely been a private undertaking of mine. Although I had my favorite prints hanging in my home or, occasionally, in my office, few people knew how important they were to me. In fact, most didn’t even know that I had taken the photographs. After retiring from a 3+ decade career, my passion for photography has been rekindled. I have received great satisfaction in transforming my darkroom knowledge and experience to a computer based environment. I am pleased with the direction my work is taking and am now ready and eager to share my work more widely. My art is finally coming out of the shadows.
This site is simply intended to be an on-line gallery of my work. Although I would prefer having you look at finished prints, viewing the images on a computer display will have to suffice for now.
The images have been grouped into galleries by subject matter. There, of course, is some overlap and arguably some images could be reclassified into a different gallery. The gallery titled "Analog (aka film)" consists entirely of medium format black and white negatives shot before 2000. The negatives have been scanned and the digital images processed. The other galleries contain images captured on a digital camera, then processed.
Hopefully, you will enjoy some of the images. If you do, please let me know by either sending me a note via the Contact menu item or by making a comment on any image you like.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work.
