At Treeline

The trees in the forest that blankets the Olympic Peninsula (between the Pacific and Puget Sound) vary as the elevation gains. At treeline in this part of the peninsula, the trees are predominately Subalpine Fir. Once you reach an elevation that the trees cannot survive in large numbers, expansive meadows appear, then ultimately just rock and snow. Treeline and shorelline are my favorite places. Shot on Ilford FP4 using a Mamiya C33 twin lense camera.
